I know it makes me “basic” – whatever the heck that even means. But Starbucks is my favorite coffee. I know.. I know. Trust me. I love coffee in general, and I try to support local small businesses when I can. But nothing beats the taste of a Starbucks coffee in my highly caffeinated opinion. And, it just also so happens that one of the most popular questions I get is what are my favorite low calorie drinks at Starbucks?
Happy to share that with you, folks!

My Typical Low Calories Starbucks Iced Drinks Order
On a normal day, like – when I’m not ordering anything “fancy” and I’m just in need of a coffee high, I’ll keep my order simple. My typical order is:
- Grande iced coffee
- With a little bit of almond milk (stress on the “little bit”)
- Add 2 Stevias
If it’s cold outside, I’ll get the same thing only instead of requesting an iced coffee, I just do a hot medium roast,
It has just enough flavor that I feel like I’m treating myself to something special, but it’s not loaded with any extra fat, sugar, or calories. The only calories you’re getting are from the coffee (which honestly, are going to be like.. less than 5 calories total, and then the calories from the almond milk. But if you’re opting to go lighter with the almond milk you’re also not going to be adding a ton in).
My Fall Inspired Low Cal Starbucks Drinks (Iced or Hot)
Now that we’re *almost* into September, it means it’s pretty much technically fall, right? Which means you can bust out your ceramic pumpkins, start decorating your house, lighting those fall scented candles, and (drum roll please), ordering a PSL from your favorite coffee shop.
One that I like to get, specifically around the beginning of fall, is an Iced Pumpkin Chai from Starbucks. Full disclosure – I have heard in the past that there might be a little dairy in the pumpkin sauce, so I did a little Google-research and found out that Starbucks removed all dairy from their pumpkin syrup back in 2018, making it a dairy-free version for those of us who cannot have dairy.
Then, another Google search told me that’s not true. That there is still milk in the pumpkin sauce at Starbucks.
So.. I don’t know the right answer there, but what I CAN say is that for me, personally, dairy hurts my stomach (and I need to avoid it because of my eoe), and when I do have this, it doesn’t hurt my stomach.
So I guess this means NEXT time I’ll have to film that video, right? Because this weekend I opted for my number one favorite low cal Starbucks drink and it did not disappoint (and I know for sure this one is dairy free!) You can watch the video below or keep scrolling to find out what it is and how to order!
